Celebrating their tenth anniversary as recording artists, Ten marked a high point in the surprising career of Tokyo duo Coldfeet, a dance-club favorite and a serious torchbearer for the New York club sound of the '90s. Rather than acting as a simple retrospective, the pair produced a large set of new music, taking on guest stars (such as m-flo's Taku Takahashi) and remixers (such as Daishi Dance) from the Tokyo dance scene as complements to their own sound. The massive energy dose also propelled the album to the top of the digital Japanese dance charts for an extended period after its release.
