AllMusic Review by

Heaven 17 originally released most of these tracks as a live CD (Live at Last) in 1999 through the band's website. Since then, they have released this CD through several different independent labels, and this is the third such release. However, what makes this CD worth owning is the addition of three previously unreleased songs ("Let's All Make a Bomb," "Do I Believe," and "Play to Win"). The first 11 tracks are from a concert recorded in Glasgow, when Heaven 17 toured as the opening act for Erasure. There is no information regarding the bonus tracks. "Do I Believe" is a studio recording, resembling the version released on their CD Bigger Than America. "Play to Win" and "Let's All Make a Bomb (Alternate Version)" are live recordings, although the source is not noted. "Let's All Make a Bomb (Alternate Version)" alone is actually worth the price of the CD. It is an eerie recording full of wonderful noises and the strong melody that makes it such a classic song. The songs on this album are well recorded and well played. Never meant to be a touring band, Heaven 17 nevertheless pulled it off in 1996 with the use of two additional background vocalists and computers. The result was this treat, a souvenir for those who were fortunate enough to catch the show. Fans will enjoy this CD but may reach for the studio recordings when it is through playing.
