AllMusic Review by

The 1994 debut album by Gorky's Zygotic Mynci came as a pleasant shock to music fans who'd never heard the Welsh language being sung, much less over jangly, time-shifty, prog-folk-indie-rock by adorable mop-tops. Like their countrymen the Super Furry Animals, GZM played rollicking tribute to their own sparkling muse, and made some powerful sounds. This release has been digitally remastered, and sounds even fresher on its 2007 re-release than it did 13 years earlier.
