This has 16 rare surf tunes from locales in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, and other Midwest states, recorded between 1963 and 1967. Perhaps there's a tad more of a frat-rock feel to these sides, but generally it sounds quite similar to West Coast surf music; play it to most people, and they would never suspect that it didn't originate from California.
