AllMusic Review by

Several of the most important house classics of the late '80s and early '90s appear on Strictly Rhythm's collection of its early history. Pretty much defining the early house mainstream, each one of the label's crucial producers during the early '90s is here, including Todd Terry (Tech Nine's "Slam Jam," Static's "Dream It"), DJ Pierre (Photon Inc.'s "Generate Power"), Josh Wink & King Britt (E-Culture's "Tribal Confusion"), Roger Sanchez (Underground Solution's "Luv Dancin" and DV8's "Old School House), George Morel (Roommates' "Voices in the Club") and Masters at Work (The Untouchables' "Li'l Louie's Anthem").
