AllMusic Review by

STREET TALK, the second official full-length release from the New York underground hip-hop conglomerate Diggin' In the Crates, features a slew of unheard, reworked, and remixed tracks (including representation from deceased rappers Big L and Big Pun), as well as new compositions from Show, A.G., Fat Joe, O.C., M.O.P., and underrated affiliates Party Arty and A-Bless. Like their first effort, WORLDWIDE, STREET TALK focuses on the one-off majesty of the obscure, old-school sample, and works more like a compilation CD than a studio album. As such, this excellent set includes its share of B-sides and underground hits that were simply dying to be dug out of beat-miner Show's deep crates.
