AllMusic Review by

This is the first CD with Boca Livre's second formation: Cláudio Nucci and David Tygel left and Fernando Gama and Lourenço Baeta came in. The album got a Sharp prize, and at the same time the group went international. As the title indicates, this release revisits the band's successful originals ("Folia," "Cruzada," "Quem Tem a Viola") and other composers' tunes famous in their voices ("Oriente" by Gilberto Gil, "Panis et Circensis" by Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil). A live album with the vocal/instrumental quartet excelling in his American folk-influenced style.
