AllMusic Review by

This two-LP set, released probably in the early '60s and housed in a very attractive box, has a variety of radio apperances by Tommy Dorsey's orchestra in the early '40s, some of which are remakes of his hits although there are a few unusual items. Most interesting are a heated "Hawaiian War Chant" featuring Buddy Rich and Ziggy Elman, Frank Sinatra singing the Jack Leonard hit "Marie," Ziggy Elman reprising "And the Angels Sing", alternate versions of "Well, Git It!" and "Swanee River," and Frank Sinatra's "The Song Is You" from his farewell appearance with the band. This will be a very difficult set to find.
