The debut album from Poison's C.C. DeVille's new-millennium band is merely an extension of the pop-fueled rock he made with his previous group. This one has adapted to the times, meaning it's a bit more glossy and pop oriented than Poison's bubblegum hair metal. It actually even steers toward power pop territory a few times, but ultimately this is pretty disposable stuff. DeVille's not much of a singer, and the songs themselves rarely move beyond their limited, staked-out areas.
