AllMusic Review by

Fronted by famed British science fiction author and sometime member of Hawkwind Michael Moorcock, the Deep Fix were the real-life manifestation of a fictional band featured in many of Moorcock's sci-fi Jerry Cornelius stories. ROLLER COASTER HOLIDAY is an extended version of the band's 1975 album NEW WORLD'S FAIR, containing alternate mixes, instrumentals, and demos. Tracks like "Sixteen Year Old Doom," "Candy Floss Cowboy," and "Starcruiser" are reminiscent of MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD-era David Bowie, while the album's personnel list contains many Hawkwind alumni, making this a must for fans of early-'70s British psychedelia.
