Grinding and technical blasts of guitar metal mayhem from this band. Interspersed are an occasional acoustic, mellow number. Somehow, the structure of albums like Repetition seems vaguely familiar to the thrash/grind metal albums of the early '90s: a couple of brutal songs, an acoustic track, more brutality, another acoustic number, and so on. The only difference is that Maharahj seems much more influenced by the likes of Creation Is Crucifixion and (Fate Of) Icarus as far as their intricate guitar-playing abilities. Fans of the genre will no doubt enjoy these ten deafening thrash numbers, but everyone else will be sure to stay far away or they might end up completely terrified.
