AllMusic Review by

Warner Music in the U.K. repackages the Ramones first and third albums in a slipcase. These are the remastered versions and both contain bonus material -- the singles. Since the Ramones will be relevant to the end of rock history, any person who hasn't picked these babies up would do well to do so, though they are available in the States for a better price individually But don't forget Leave Home, which was recorded in 1976 between these two sets, and Road to Ruin recorded in 1978 after 1977's Rocket to Russia. These albums are the equal of any four-record sequence by the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, or Bob Dylan; in other words, as strong as anyone's.
