Produced by Selig bassist Leo Schmidthals, Protest is the 2009 release from German writer and rock singer Heinz Rudolf Kunze. Influenced by the '60s protest songs of Bob Dylan, the follow-up to Klare Verhaltrisse tackles a variety of subjects including war, the economic crisis, and terrorism in a combination of soulful guitar ballads and politically conscious punk rock, including the singles "Astronaut in Bagdad" and "Langere Tage." A bonus edition featuring two extra tracks and a video clip was also released.
