AllMusic Review by

This brief set actually has more of a doo wop and 1950s feel to it than anything one would associate with the '60s, and songs like Bobby Day's original "Rockin" Robin" and Mark Dinning's impossibly (and also delightfully) maudlin "Teen Angel" belong to the street corner singing group era, while Bill Justis' instrumental "Raunchy" seems to reach back ever earlier to a kind of jazzy jump blues groove. It's all kind of fun in a blatantly nostalgic way, and sometimes that's a good thing. It's awfully short, though.
