This budget priced EP for the English market, served as a virtual primer for curious Joe Walsh fans at a time when The Eagles were taking over the world. The four songs here, "Rocky Mountain Way," "Turn To Stone," "Meadows," and "Walk Away" provide en excellent overview of his post James Gang pre-Eagles career. "Walk Away," although originally a James gang track, is culled from Walsh's awesome live album, You Can't Argue with a Sick Mind, and showcases his incredible mastery of hard rock guitar in a live setting. The three remaining studio tracks, though, are even better. Walsh's ability in the studio was, at the time, second to none, and these tracks show him to be a lot more than the 'guitar hero' status he was gaining at the time. His complex arrangements and layering of tracks is truly an awesome thing to behold, and this brief set shows off his abilities admirably.
