AllMusic Review by

The second of three Lp's in this live series (all of the albums unfortunately have the same ugly cover drawing) features trumpeter Webster Young with either Freddie Washington or Red Anderson on tenor, pianist John Chapman, bassist John Mixon and drummer Chauncey Williams from a live session in St. Louis. They perform long versions of "Beautiful Love," Young's "East St. Louis Shoot Out" and "When Lights Are Low" and the music (decently recorded) actually has little to do with Miles Davis. For no particular reason a rather annoying excerpt from a 1980 interview with Miles lasting around two minutes is included at the end of the album.
