Most Known Hits, released in 2005, was a handy way to get caught up on highlights from Three 6 Mafia's albums dating back to Chapter 2: World Domination. It was released in 2005, timed with the success of "Stay Fly," the group's first Hot 100 hit, which peaked at number 13, and preceded their recording of "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp," the song they wrote that won an Academy Award for Best Song. Playlist: The Very Best of Three 6 Mafia has an edge over Most Known Hits because it contains those two songs (with "Stay Fly" in remix form, featuring Slim Thug, Trick Daddy, and Project Pat). It contains many of the group's most notable cuts, including "Tear da Club Up '97," "Sippin' on Some Syrup," and "Ridin' Spinners."
