AllMusic Review by

The fifth entry into the chronicling of the local Pittsburgh radio hit story is another enticing one, with the preponderance of its lineup devoted to local Pittsburgh area artists. As a result, this is one of the few volumes that actually has some tracks that later progressed into national hits, the two notable examples being "Come Go with Me" and "Whispering Bells" by the Dell Vikings, heard here in their original Fee Bee versions, thus bringing some name value to the proceedings. An early vocal effort by George Benson with the Altairs ("If You Love Me") is noteworthy, as are the Marcels' a cappella entry, "Teeter Totter Love," and the loose-as-a-goose, greasepit instrumental by the Vibra-Sonics, "Drag Race." Another solid entry and a lot of unvarnished, raw music in the bargain.
