AllMusic Review by

Ray Conniff's Personalidad: 20 Exitos features most of the bandleader's biggest Latin-themed hits from the 1950s, '60s, and '70s, including "Frenesi," "Tico-Tico," and "Besame Mucho." Aside from a slightly increased emphasis on brass and percussion, these performances don't really differ much from the rest of Conniff's work from this period. Other highlights include "Aquellos Ojos Verdes" ("Green Eyes"), "De Niña a Mujer," and an unusual, but mostly successful, version of George Harrison's "Mi Dulce Señor" ("My Sweet Lord"). While it's not a complete retrospective of Conniff's work, this is still one of the better collections of his Latin-themed music.
