A mix of longer and shorter pieces on various modes by a truly wonderful woman singer backed by equally fine kamantcheh fiddle, santur dulcimer (played by Akhbari) and percussion. In the old cliche, where have these people been all my life? I am not going to argue that Izadi is better than some of the (few) other classical women singers available on CD, but she is way up there and so are her musicians.
