AllMusic Review by

Elba Ramalho is an expressive singer who mixes the influences of her Northeastern origins with pop music in a mainstream way which inscribes her strongly in the world genre. Northeast frevos, forrós and maracatus coexist with samba-canção and pop ballad in this album where prodominate energetic, swinging grooves and renditions. The selected hits are "Paisagem da janela," a Clube da Esquina jewel which had great success in her voice, being included in the major soap opera Irmãos Coragem; "Eu quero é botar meu bloco na rua," a sambão jóia hit of the 70's, "A massa," song which won a TV Globo festival, and "Que baque é esse" (Lenine).
