These two albums paired on one CD make for a strange pair of bookends, since the title song of The New Frontier was John Stewart's salute to the Kennedy era and the penultimate song on Time to Think was Stewart's memorial to the late president. The mix of songs is extremely diverse and, if not the group's ideal repertory, shows off their ability to deal with folk music in a multitude of moods and settings. As a bonus, the CD reissue includes both the album version of the hit "Greenback Dollar" and the censored single version in which the word "damn" was edited out.
