This compilation makes one wonder why the powers don't exploit the more feminine side of reggae more often. Its style is softer than reggae typically from male artists, and it has the potential to appeal to a larger audience. Natty Queen Divas contains contagious, irresistible ear candy from the Marley Girls, Rita Marley, Carlene Davis, Marcia Griffiths, I-Threes, and Dhaima. Natural Cherry's "Guerrilla Queen" is the most socio-political track, but love and attitude prevail. Each selection will burrow into your heart and leave you hungering for more.
