The film Naked Ambition, "an R rated look at an X rated industry," has a score by Joey Peters and Jens Funke that, in the five excerpts heard on the soundtrack album, contains a circus-like quality. The other eight tracks consist of various rock and dance-pop performances by mostly unknown performers, the exception being an "unplugged" version of the 1983 hit "Sex (I'm A...)" credited to "Terri Nunn from Berlin." That no doubt expresses a theme of the film, as probably does "Slave," Andy Roda's Prince sound-alike number. Those are the most notable selections on a mostly forgettable album.
