Kitaro's synthesizer-based compositions are extended aural landscapes full of dramatic peaks of intensity and valleys of emotional calm. He is fond of loud, tympani-like drums, sweeps of sound that approximate electronic winds, and majestic melodies played in singing, upper-register tones. And his music is quite consistent. If you like this, you'll probably like every record he's made.
