AllMusic Review by

A pretty cool six-song, seven-inch compilation of '60s folk-rock rarities, although the transfer from the original vinyl copies, as was usually the case on Moxie reissues, is pretty shabby. Boo Boo & Bunkie offer an inept Sonny & Cher imitation; the Bats' "Nothing at All" sounds kind of like a raw P.F. Sloan with its heavy acoustic strums and smothering organ; and Blacksheep's "It's My Mind" recalls, and stands up to, the better early Turtles tunes. The clear keeper here is the Avengers' "Open Your Eyes," a hard-edged, ace Byrdsy folk-rocker with ethereal harmonies and great distorted organ and guitar lines. It's worth a listen not just by the kind of garage collectors that usually look for these kind of murky reissues, but by any fan of '60s rock.
