Motion pictures are known for containing memorable songs, and Philippine singer Ogie Alcasid sings seven of them on Movie Moments. Of the seven, six are from American films and one is from a Philippine film. The songs are all tender ballads, and include a sweet rendition of "For All We Know," from the funny and poignant 1970 film Lovers and Other Strangers. It won an Oscar for Best Song, and was originally performed by the Carpenters. Ogie Alcasid is accompanied by acoustic guitar, and his version is also nice. He puts forth much empathy and sincerity in his singing. This is heard to good effect on the other songs as well, including "It Might Be You," a song which is perennially popular in the Philippines, and has been recorded by a number of local singers. The second side of this record contains the same songs but without vocals, which allows listeners to sing along with the music.
