The work of Reginald Craig proves that the apple doesn't fall too far from the family tree, as he is the cousin of Detroit techno aficionado Carl Craig and brother of Doug Craig, who worked with Juan Atkins under the guise Channel One to produce the Detroit classic "Technicolor." Moods of Electronica is Reginald Craig's first step into the music spotlight. As not to alienate the DJs from his work, he released a few of his more dancefloor-friendly tracks on this 12". Every track on the 12" would work in a number of genres, which makes it an asset to any DJ's record box. The A-side features "Behind the Shadow," a contagious house track fit for any dancefloor. The B-side is made up of "Second Wind" and "Deep Dark Secrets," both of which have an old-school electro feel. "Second Wind" also appears on Carl Craig's mix CD Onsumothasheeat. A fitting place to introduce electronic music fans to this up and coming producer.
