AllMusic Review by

Los Angeles' bizarre Foreskin 500 brew a sleazy mix of rock, funk, industrial and hip hop-style sampling (imagine a collaboration between White Zombie and the Butthole Surfers with a Dust Brothers production approach). On their debut album Manpussy, the blueprint for the band's sound is laid out, but overall it doesn't leave much of an impression; Foreskin 500 get more mileage out of their attitude and audacity than out of their songs. However, the vastly better produced followup, 1996's Starbent but Superfreaked, fully delivers on the potential that is only hinted at here.
