On LP Title, Philly power trio Latimer creates walls of fuzzed-up guitar noise over which it builds frenzied, but subtle, melodic shifts. The effect is sometimes not unlike using the sound of a jack-hammer to achieve a state of hypnotic bliss. It's a sloppy, messy album in many ways, but the harmonic anarchy works. The disc was recorded over ten days in Memphis with label-boss Allen bass-guesting on two tracks.
