AllMusic Review by

While touring the world in support of her wildly popular debut disc, DANGEROUSLY IN LOVE, Beyonce was captured on film for this 2004 DVD release. Fans who purchase LIVE AT WEMBLEY get a special treat in the form of a bonus six-track CD, featuring three new songs and three remixes of album tracks. A fun, late-1970s/early-'80s vibe pervades the record, which opens with a sexy cover of Rose Royce's "Wishing on a Star" (a 1992 hit for the Cover Girls). "What's It Gonna Be" drips honeyed harmonies over a funky beat, while "My First Time" falls somewhere between Rufus and Shalamar, with its dreamy '80s-funk-fueled R&B. The remixes range from a soulful, slow version of "Crazy in Love"--here called "Krazy in Luv"--to a high-powered techno reworking of "Baby Boy."
