AllMusic Review by

Although Fraser MacPherson had first recorded as a leader in his native Canada as early as 1962, it was not until the release of this Concord set in 1979 that he became known in the United States. Recorded in 1975 at a Vancouver concert in a trio with guitarist Oliver Gannon and bassist Wyatt Ruther, MacPherson displays a "Four Brothers" tenor tone as he alternately romps and caresses seven standards. Highlights include "Tangerine," "I'm Getting' Sentimental Over You" and "Li'l Darlin'."
