AllMusic Review by

The diversity of the www.ldsmusicians.com e-group manifests itself in the spectrum of genres on this compilation. The CD serves as a varied sampler and jumps from folk-pop to inspirational works, then back to ethereal guitar work and solo piano. Compilations are generally difficult to thread together, and some may find it difficult to listen straight through this one because of the multiple song formats. Above all, these 17 artists open their hearts to the world and share their blossoming talents. A number of songs are definite winners in production quality, performance, and songwriting: "Rescue Me," "Priorities," "Sweet Mercy," "Walked a Mile," "If You Could Hike to Kolob," and "What Doesn't Kill You." Honorable mentions include the Pink Floyd-ish "Burden of Babylon" and the disco-tinged "Holy Ground." Contributor Alex Mackey's first dive into album design crams a ton of information on the cover and liner, but somehow the album is just as attractive visually as it is to the ears.
