The music of Lena's LA MALA is part Latin pop opera, part salsa club, and part bolero. Each track either pays homage to Lena's past (her mother was Cuban vocalist Malena Burke) or is infused with contemporary sounds that should appeal to both young and old. Tracks like the remake of the classic jazz hit "Fever" and "Con El Diablo en el Cuerpo" feature collaborations with famous reggaeton artist Tito el Bambino and Youtel from the Cuban hip-hop group Orishas. LA MALA is current, entertaining, and reflective of a new generation of contemporary Latin musicians.
