Temo is a Kurdish singer and composer exiled in France since 1975. From France, he has worked hard to let the world know of his natal Kurdistan of which he keep singing about. He uses the traditional Kurdish long-necked lute, the tembûr, accompanied by a small tambourine, the arbana. His songs are written in the traditional Kurdish style, with the least influence possible from Western music. He speaks his mind about what his country and its people are going through right from the heart!
