With inclusions like Rose Royce's "Car Wash," the Temptations' "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone," and Neil Sedaka's "Oh! Carol," the third volume of It's the '70s Again appears to be a helpful enough way to obtain a number of significant '70s hits, but the disc is filled with extremely inferior re-recordings and live renditions. There is nothing on the packaging of the disc to indicate it, so it is apparent that the Legacy label -- not to be confused with the Sony-affiliated catalog label of the same name -- is trying to trick the consumer. The fact that the series is titled It's the '70s Again is a very subtle way of clueing you in.
