Fourteen of Billie Holiday's studio sides from 1935-38 (most of which were originally under the leadership of pianist Teddy Wilson) are reissued on this Drive Archive CD. Some of the titles are classics (particularly "What a Little Moonlight Can Do" and "Miss Brown to You") while a few are quite obscure. The music is fine but the sound quality is not as good as one would hope, plus these important performances have already been reissued in more definitive fashion on CD by Columbia. This CD does serve as a budget sampler for listeners not yet familiar with Billie Holiday.
