AllMusic Review by

The Main Ingredient had run out of steam by the time they signed with Polydor in 1989. Luther Simmons, who sang with the old Poets back in the '50s before they became The Main Ingredient in the early '70s, had finally gone back to the stock market again, this time for good. They were in their third incarnation, and while Cuba Gooding and Tony Silvester were still on board, the timing was off and the harmonies less than shimmering. The title track was decent, but their time had passed.
