The various-artists song soundtrack to Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil is dominated by pastiche artist Dan Myers, who, on his four tracks, devotes himself largely to updates of jump blues styles, notably on "Big City," "Living in a Fairy Tale (With You)," and "Look Out Shorty!" On "Little Squirrel (Forage for Your Love)," he makes like Barry White fronting Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes in a song of love between one squirrel and another that may have disturbing implications; Myers declares that the baby squirrel to whom he's attracted makes him so crazy he wants to run into oncoming traffic. This bit of roadkill aside, the album also includes a couple of performances by Wayne Newton that seem to demonstrate the Vegas legend has lost his voice at age 69; a short German-language version of "Kung Fu Fighting"; and a couple of wannabe pop hits sung by Hayden Panettiere, the star voice of Little Red Riding Hood, that probably won't get on Radio Disney given that this animated feature was made by the rival Weinstein Company.
