Holy Dead Trinity collects the best material from Hate's first three albums, originally released only in their native Poland. Believers of the less is more approach to black metal, Hate avoids the extended epics flogged by many of their rivals and keepd their violent bursts short and sweet. Still, this in no way affects the demonic growling and general cacophony herein, as the band wheeld and deald their morbid tales backed by a constant barrage of drums and guitars, occasionally spiced by dark melodies and solos. Among the band's best offerings are "Invocation," "God Overslept," and closer "Satan's Horde," which would have probably worked better as the first track, given its explanatory cry of "Praise Satan!"
