Amidst a heated debate about the Sham 69 name, guitarist Dave Parsons released this 2007 album without founding frontman James Pursey. (A singer credited as "Scazz" takes Pursey's place.) Personnel issues aside, HOLLYWOOD HERO finds the U.K. punk act in surprisingly fine, hard-charging form, as revealed on the revved-up "I Want Glory" and "I Don't Believe a Word," which sounds like a vintage Social Distortion tune.
