AllMusic Review by

Los Walkysons are a throwback frat rock combo from Barcelona, Spain. Don't be fooled by that title -- it's just a little Walky humor for you. This is the band's first record, appearing from the Spanish surf/trash/R&B imprint El Toro. Those same genres inform the Walkysons' sound, too. "J.A.J." is a lively, organ-led instrumental; "Wild Dance" is rave-up R&B akin to U.S. combos like the Hi-Fives; and "Lenin's Mummy [Goes to the Pipeline]" unleashes some killer reverb surf guitar while nodding to Russian folk music. Other standouts include the gritty, ? & the Mysterians romp of "It's Not Easy," and the fun "Legend of the Dude," which drops references to the Trashmen into its doo-wop good time.
