Be warned: this does feature Paul Simon & Art Garfunkel, but it is not an authentic Simon & Garfunkel album, consisting of material they recorded in the late '50s as the teenage duo Tom & Jerry. Working in a sub-Everlys mode, they did fashion some mildly pleasant tracks, one of which, "Hey Schoolgirl," was a Top 50 hit. The songs came back to haunt them when Pickwick reissued them, with deceptive packaging implying a bona-fide Simon & Garfunkel LP, in 1966. The contents are not without interest, but everyone except collectors and huge Simon & Garfunkel fans should skip it, as it bears little relation to the sound that made them famous.
