AllMusic Review by

The rather misleadingly titled Hip-Hop Super Hits, released in 2006 by Universal Music Latino, could just as easily be titled "Hip-Hop/Reggaeton Super Hits," given the inclusions of Gansta's "Quiero Ser Como Yo," Pancho Indio Crew & David "El Titerito"'s "Dejalos," Bon's "Que Agante lo Que Venga," and DJ Blass' "Que Aguante lo Que Venga." (Although hip-hop is a significant ingredient in reggaeton, there are instances here where the two forms are more separable.) The highlights, beyond a couple of the aforementioned cuts, include Miguel Play's hard-hitting "Haciendo lo Que Quiero," Hector & Tito's "Pa' los del Otro Bando" (a hybrid that swings back and forth between Wu-Tang-worthy grit and a maniacal reggaeton rhythm), and Tego Calderón and Voltio's opening "Dos Guillaos."
