The undemanding Hi-Fidelity Lounge series returned with more post-club bedroom beats, tighter but no less preoccupied with the tenets of above-average leisure. Ivan Pavlovich, Martin Stary, and Rob Koutchoukos certainly felt their Guidance Recordings label had room to grow, evidenced by a self-described couch-house sequel stocked with Alex Gopher, Pablo, Thievery Corporation, and the unhappily named Schmoov. But the notable headstrong moments like Gotan Project's "El Capitalismo Foraneo" or Samia Farah's "Cool (Barbare)" were few and far between.
