AllMusic Review by

Super-fierce beats and sweaty, steroid-loaded low end has defined much of the output of South London's Kevin King and Karl Francis over the years, with their own Valve label very much the epitome of their sound-system-rumbling dancehall drum'n'bass. This compilation of new material follows in the footsteps of Big Bad Bass, a rugged selection of beats released in 2002, with each producer again taking turns in a relentless tag-teamed selection of speaker-shifting low end and rattling beat mayhem. Despite only the occasional injection of soul into the otherwise platinum breaks, much of this indisputably thunderous selection has been hammered on the drum'n'bass circuit -- supporters of the Valve sound are sure to find satisfaction here.
