Victor Buono was a very famous character actor in the late 1960s notable for his heavy roles as arch-villains in television shows such as Batman. He had a very European sense of humor, and a lot of it comes through on this, his first comedy album. Most of the selections are fanciful poems about his enormous, almost Wells-ian weight. The funniest is "I'm Fat" which gleefully pokes fun at his own condition in a charming, self-effacing manner. Not exactly the kind of comedy record that you'd play over and over, but still Heavy offers some fun, light entertainment.
