Dámaris Carbaugh has a lovely voice. This album never showcases it as it could, but it doesn't hide it, either. Carbaugh is at her best during traditional numbers like "Jesus Paid It All" and "No Not One." The contemporary arrangements of these numbers don't detract from them in any way. "Is It Any Wonder" is a bit of a torch song, and Carbaugh gives it a smooth richness. The rest of the album is fairly bland; nothing to love, nothing to hate. Carbaugh's voice is amazing, but her material lacks originality and spunk.
