A lo-fi production that sounds as if it was recorded on a four-track machine, lots of guitar reverb, a Casio keyboard drum machine, and some quiet vocals that are heavy on the echo effects: Of course, this is none other than a Burnt Hair release. Not that any of this is a bad thing, as Flowchart lays down some gentle space rock flow of soothing pop that's slow moving, but, at the same time, it doesn't lose your attention. On top of the well-crafted Sundays' cover of "Here's Where the Story Ends," Hallow Sky is a nice slice of laid-back drone that could either be listened to attentively or played in the background.
