While a lesser presence in the U.S. music scene, British pop sensation and songwriter Billy Fury had a string of hits in his homeland during the 1950s and '60s, including these 16 melodic ballads and light-rockers. (The title track, his biggest hit, was written by Tony Orlando.) Considering that Fury's been dead for over 20 years and is not well-represented on disc, this collection is an important archive for fans of pre-Beatlemania British pop.
